Walnut Unveils Enterprise AI Agents for Personalized B2B Buying

Walnut, a prominent platform serving B2B software go-to-market (GTM) teams, announced the launch of its enterprise AI agent platform, designed to revolutionize and scale personalized buyer experiences. Debuting on September 2, 2026, the new platform introduces two key AI agents: AI Mode for Playlists and Deal Rooms, and Walnut Xpert, which collectively aim to make tailored B2B interactions more efficient and insightful.

The strategic shift addresses a growing demand from buyers for self-exploration of products, coupled with the GTM teams' challenge of personalizing experiences at scale. Walnut's new offerings are built to bridge this gap, allowing companies to deliver highly customized journeys that were once reserved only for their most critical deals.

Scaling Personalization and Efficiency with AI

The new AI Mode for Playlists and Deal Rooms significantly cuts down the time GTM teams spend on tailoring content. Previously, account executives or customer success managers would invest approximately three hours per deal to create personalized playlists or deal rooms. With the new AI Mode, this process can now commence with a single descriptive prompt, drastically reducing effort while maintaining high fidelity and interactivity.

Similarly, demo creation, which traditionally took days or hours, is now streamlined to minutes through Walnut's AI-driven agents. This enhancement allows sales and customer success teams to allocate more time to strategic engagement rather than manual customization.

Interactive Buyer Experiences and Deeper Insights

On the buyer side, Walnut Xpert transforms static product demonstrations into dynamic, interactive conversations. Prospects can now ask questions, explore specific product areas that pique their interest, and navigate the demo at their own pace, rather than adhering to a predefined click-through sequence. Walnut reports that sessions utilizing Xpert alongside a demo last more than twice as long as traditional, non-interactive sessions.

Beyond engagement, Walnut Xpert provides invaluable intent signals to GTM teams. By analyzing the questions buyers ask and the paths they choose within the demo, companies gain a clearer understanding of prospects' true interests and priorities, offering a level of insight a static demo cannot capture.

A Coherent AI Architecture Grounded in Reality

The foundation of Walnut’s AI agents is its proprietary product capture technology. Unlike systems that generate product experiences based on approximations, Walnut's platform captures the actual product's screens, flows, and data. This ensures that any AI-generated content or responses are accurate and deeply rooted in what the product genuinely offers.

This shared, accurate product context is crucial, according to Oren Blank, CEO of Walnut. Blank stated, “Every company has access to the same frontier models now, so the ability to build features isn’t a competitive advantage anymore. What is: your ability to go to market effectively, tell a coherent story, and create a buyer experience that actually helps your buyer make the informed decision.” This architectural approach aims to prevent disconnected messaging that can arise from disparate AI tools.

Prioritizing Governance and Control

Walnut's AI expansion also emphasizes strong governance. The company introduced the AI Center prior to autonomous capabilities, offering administrators comprehensive visibility, permissions, and guardrails for AI usage across their workspace. This intentional sequencing ensures that as AI agents assume more responsibilities, organizations retain centralized control and understanding of their operations.

Further bolstering control, Walnut will soon roll out bring-your-own-key (BYOK) support. This feature will give customers direct oversight of security, privacy, and spending, while also allowing Walnut’s buyer-enablement architecture to seamlessly integrate with various underlying AI models, providing flexibility and choice.

Availability

The AI Center, AI Mode for demos, AI Mode for Playlists and Deal Rooms, and Walnut Xpert are currently available to Walnut customers. BYOK support and a companion Multi-Cloud Platform (MCP), enabling customers to run the platform through their preferred AI provider, are expected to be available in the coming weeks.
